Gonna do this post in reverse.

I'm still messing around with drywall, and am working on a piece that brings gypsum to the surface of the drywall.

Revealing the gypsum is happening after "archiving a moment".

Painting is how I've grown my practice as an artist, and I find it interesting to investigate a new body of work in which expresses paintings that no longer exist.
Maybe it should be titled, "What was is gone."

They are ephemeral works, "carved in stone". Unsensational moments, preserved forever.

This is my daily mediation.
